On May 19, our Storms, Eddies and Science Hour will feature EERIE project scientists Amber Sneddon (UCT) speaking about “Climatology of Atmospheric Rivers in the South Atlantic Basin using modern image processing-based methodology” and Martín Lotto Batista (BSC) on “Leveraging Earth Observation data to predict leptospirosis outbreaks in Argentina”.
The session will be moderated by Ramiro Saurral (BSC).
