SUMMARY:Science Hour #9 - The impact of Gulf Stream precipitation on jet variability (using pre-EERIE data)
DESCRIPTION:Kristian Strommen (University of Oxford) will host the ninth EERIE Science Hour – Using pre-EERIE data to look at the role of the Gulf Stream on North Atlantic weather variability (with a focus on the jet and blocking). \nIt will also feature discussion on what the project might hope to see in the Frontier EERIE simulations as well as challenges expected.
